Disassemble is the title of my third series of personal paintings. Combining fractured and mirrored human forms with high luster circles, I was exploring the ideas of human perfection in light of something whole. This was the last series that I completed in my first studio…a lovely, rugged shed in the woods. I fondly remember working on one piece at a time while picking little leaves out of the drying enamel.
