2011’s Maps & Memories series came at a difficult time. Concepts revolved around home and safety, among geographic and literal figurative references. Balance and uprooted feelings saturate these works as I was going through a divorce. The work was created in a small Miami apartment and the opening exhibition was in Baltimore.
