My story.
Suburban Seattle. Rural Ohio. Piano, percussion, running, swimming, surfing to the middle of Orlando. Baltimore. Maryland Institute College of Art brings me to city life. Illustration, commissions, galleries, graduating with honors. Muralism. Using my whole body to create? Outside? Exploring the city? Connecting to those within it? I was hooked…
Most people started to hear about me through my first personal series of murals, the Baltimore Love Project. Simultaneously, I had the privilege of collaborating with many creatives, organizations, Fortune 500 companies, festivals, government agencies, educational systems and more.
A formative residency at the Creative Alliance deepened my appreciation of community art and led me to start HOME Artist Residency. Recent years have focused on growing my studio practice, building a book and deepening relationships with collectors. Inspirations still include nature, my son and the connections and constellations found through art.
