My story.
1982, WA, born to a creative family and coloring books at the dinner table
1986-99, OH, growing up, studying and performing music
1999, FL, rekindle visual art passion and develop portfolio
2000-04, MD, BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College Of Art
2003, Baltimore City, my 1st exterior mural. Using my whole body to create? Painting in the elements? Exploring the city? Connecting to those within it? I was hooked…
2006, Become a parent to Harper, which means “of music and art”, inspiring the Explore Series
2007, start my most-known personal work, called the Baltimore Love Project
2009, win a National bid and paint one of the world’s longest murals, covering both sides of a 1/4 mile underpass
2011-2014 participate in a residency at the Creative Alliance, deepening my love for community art
2014-2024, start and run HOME Artist Residency to support local and international, community-minded artists
2023, release my first collection of poetry and paintings, as “Extra Life”
2024, move to California’s Central coast

I’m thankful every opportunity that has built my extensive CV, with over 200 murals in the United States, numerous solo and group shows, corporate campaigns, personal commissions, lectures, workshops, collaborations, publishings, performance art and an international collectorship.
